My Junk Journals
I've got a bunch of these, so here is one of them. Take a look!

Want to make your own?
Here are some tips I use
-
Start on a random page. Don't feel like you have to go in order. It helps me a lot because I don't get that "halfway through" stress, so it just fills up naturally whenever I feel like adding to it.
-
Stop trying to make it perfect. It's a junk journal, not a pretty one! Every page is unique because it's yours, so don't worry if it looks messy. You are doing this for you, not for an art gallery.
-
Choose your own vibe. You don't have to pick just one type of journal. I have my Lidl Book for work stuff but you could do bus tickets, travel memories, or even candy wrappers. Whatever you are into just go for it.
-
Don't force your workflow. Some weeks I journal every day, and other weeks I don't touch it for ages and that's totally okay. It shouldn't ever feel like a chore.
-
Keep your tools simple. You don't need expensive supplies, just a pen, scissors, and glue. Pro tip get some double sided tape for things like chip bags or shiny packaging, because regular glue usually peels off after a few days.
-
Don't feel obligated to mix text and images. Some days I just write like it's a diary, and other days I just collage with stickers or receipts. Just do whatever matches your mood that day.
-
Most importantly, just have fun with it. It doesn't need to look professional it just needs to be made by you. Stick, scribble, and be yourself.
